The owners of this secluded new build in the Hamptons – in the East end of Long Island, New York – wanted the hardware in their house to reflect the crisp clean lines of their architecturally designed home. ORE was commissioned to design a multi-generational home for a family to frame views unique to the surrounding landscape.
The brief was for hardware that would work on a range of door types including surface sliders, pocket doors, hinge doors, and pivots. Everything was to work together seamlessly, and everything had to be white, to provide the least distraction from the vistas beyond. With one of the most extensive ranges of flush pulls in the world, our handles were chosen and installed on almost all doors in the project.
Our matt “Electro Flat White” hardware sits quietly but stylishly in the background allowing the beauty of the environment to sing.
