HB648/649 Series Narrow Sliding Door Lock - 33mm Backset
Halliday + Baillie Key Lock Sliding System with 33mm backset and a case depth of 48mm.
The slim proportions of the HB640 Series lock sets make them ideal for narrow style timber and aluminum joinery. The HB648 and HB649 variants use the shorter HB660 flush pulls and are particularly useful on sliding windows that require locking. The cylinder function is not utilized on these sets.
Please note that the “HB640 Series” denotes the type of lock body used with various flush pull configurations.
Material: Diecast zinc with brass and 316 stainless steel
Backset : 33mm
Minimum door thickness : 38mm
Flush pulls : 250mm x 36mm x 13mm
Suitable for timber or aluminum doors with narrow stiles
PLEASE NOTE: In the HB648 and HB649 configurations the lock and flush pulls will be offset slightly along the height of the door and not line up with the top and bottom of the flush pulls.

Flush pulls are designed to be mounted with the body within the thickness of the door, and the face plate on the door surface – total projection is 2mm. Fully recessed mounting is possible on timber doors with the appropriate door thickness. Using glue, epoxy or silicone products etc to secure flush pulls to the door is not required or recommended for installation, and may void warrantee. Glue, epoxy, or silicone products can be used to secure the spindle bar to the back of the snib flush pull for example where sets have a flush pull to one side only.
